Our response to COVID-19

17th March 2020

Dear clients and friends

We have nothing but admiration and respect for the staff in schools around the world who have chosen to innovate and pull together to continue educating their students, to stay strong and to keep calm.  We intend to do exactly the same to ensure we can continue to support our clients.  Just last week, for example, we completed the performance appraisal of a school leader using Zoom and this week we are using Microsoft Teams to show candidates around a school.

We have put in place a number of measures to prepare for the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 virus.  Because so much of our work takes place outside the UK and many of my colleagues work from home, most of us are quite used to working remotely.  Those of us normally based in our UK offices have now been set up for home-working and we have identified individuals in business-critical roles and ensured that their skills and knowledge are shared and protected.  All data we hold remains secure.

Our main priority, however, is to ensure that our colleagues and our clients are safe so we are following government guidelines to reduce the spread of the virus.  With that in mind, we have suspended all travel that is not essential and have advised colleagues who may be at greater risk to “meet” online.

We are looking forward to healthier times, to firm handshakes and warm greetings.  Until then, we intend to keep calm and carry on and we wish everyone well.

Yours sincerely

“The analysis, honestly and positively, shared our shortcomings and then, with warmth and understanding, suggested steps forward. We would certainly work with RSAcademics in the future and can recommend them without hesitation.”
