Four hundred and fifty years after Bromsgrove UK came into being, Bromsgrove International School Thailand (BIST) was founded in 2002.  The Ramkhamheang Early Years campus serves 100 children, while the 400 strong Primary and Secondary campus stands in Windsor Park Golf Club, about 20 minutes’ drive away.

BIST now has students from over 27 nations and 95% fully qualified British teachers, including in Early Years. BIST has long been a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is a member of other organisations including the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA). Relations with Bromsgrove UK are deep, strong, and manifest in both formal and informal structures and arrangements.

The new Head of Early Years will be a member of the BIST Senior Leadership Team and responsible for running their own campus of Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception, and Year 1.  Early Years follows the EYFS programme with added Thai components.

The Head of Early Years will be a kind, compassionate and inspiring leader, with heightened cultural sensitivity. They will also be child-centred, knowing all pupils by their name and able to offer strong, unifying, visionary leadership while being respectful of Thai culture and all that the School has achieved. This role will commence in August 2025, and the position comes with an accommodation allowance and a competitive remuneration package

Key Dates

The closing date for applications is Monday 2 September 2024 at 10:00 (UK) / 16:00 (Thailand).

Preliminary interviews will take place by video call with RSAcademics colleagues and are expected to take place during the week commencing 9 September 2024.

Further interviews for those who progress beyond preliminary interviews will take place by video call with members of the BIST team. This is currently expected to be later in September.

Final stage interviews are likely to take place in Thailand in mid-October. Candidates who will have any difficulty attending in person at this time should mention this if they are invited to the preliminary interview.
