Do you want to be a transforming force in the lives of young people?

Red Balloon is looking for a CEO who is an energetic educational leader with business acumen and a knowledge of the work of charities, to oversee the organisational development for the entire RBET network.

The successful candidate will be fully committed to the aims of the charity, have excellent people skills, strong emotional intelligence and be calm and diplomatic.

Red Balloon Educational Trust (RBET) is a UK charity that provides an alternative provision for young people studying at KS3-4 who are unable to attend mainstream school owing to severe bullying, mental health issues, trauma or high anxiety. RBET provides tailored educational, wellbeing and social re-engagement programmes both in physical Centres and via the blended online and in-person provision.

The successful candidate will report directly to the RBET Chair and Trustees.

For the new CEO, this is a great opportunity to take a firm control of the running and development of a very special organisation and to take it to the next level by opening Centres in new locations, covering a wider geographical sphere than at present.
