Freelance Strategic Communications Consultant – RSAcademics

Are you an experienced communications professional with a background in education?
We are looking for a Freelance Strategic Communications Consultant to support schools on a variety of communications projects, with a focus on change management.

As a freelance consultant, you will play a key role in developing and delivering communication strategies tailored to the needs of our education clients. You will be responsible for proposal writing, project scoping, and delivering high-impact communications initiatives. This is a flexible, autonomous role suited to someone who is confident managing their own time and work priorities.
The successful candidate will have experience in the education sector, particularly in school and ideally independent schools. They will bring expertise in strategic and change management communications, with the ability to lead on proposals and deliver communication projects from start to finish. Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with an ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential.
