Head – Bethany School
Cranbrook, Kent

The Governors of Bethany School invite applications for the role of Head, following sixteen years of first-class leadership by Mr Francie Healy.
The post falls vacant on his retirement in September 2026.
Bethany is a thriving independent boarding and day school for 330 children aged 11-18 and is enjoying an ever-growing reputation for the quality of its teaching and the excellent pastoral care on offer. Within its beautiful setting in 60 acres of beautiful Kent countryside, the school brings together a strong sense of tradition and a culture of innovation, underpinned by a warm, caring and inclusive community spirit.
The Governors seek an outstanding Head with the vision, warmth and energy to take the school forward into the next stage of development. The successful candidate will be an inspirational, inclusive and experienced senior educationalist with a proven track record of success, excellence in all leadership skills, a commitment to co-education, business awareness, and a true appreciation of the myriad of opportunities offered by life in a school community based on strong Christian values.
