Exciting opportunity to lead a top UK prep school in Somerset.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual for September 2022 or January 2023 as head of Hazlegrove School, a highly regarded and successful independent, coeducational, 2-13 day and boarding school in Somerset.
Part of the King’s School, Bruton Foundation, that dates back to 1519, Hazlegrove stands in its own 200 acres of parkland, where the original house and gardens are enhanced by outstanding, modern facilities.

The curriculum offered is vibrant and creative, the pastoral care is exceptional and children can enjoy the innocence of childhood as well as being well prepared for the next stage of their education at 13.
Pupil achievement is excellent with over 21 scholarships and awards in the past year as well as individual and team national successes on the sports field and national recognition for its musicians.
The new head will be forward thinking, energetic, innovative, have experience of successful senior leadership and be able to build on the current strong position of the school when Mark White, the present head moves to Wetherby Preparatory School for September 2022.
