The Development team at Eton is in a period of exciting and sector leading transition. Already one of the UK’s leading fundraising schools, the College now seeks an outstanding Head of Development to play a pivotal role in leading the rapid expansion of Eton’s development and fundraising capabilities.
The Head of Development will complement the Director of Development’s rich knowledge of Eton with sector leading fundraising methodology. In short, the ideal candidate will bring the science of fundraising and contemporary best practice to an already high performing team.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Head of Development will help create, and support, an enlarged development function, capable of optimising the College’s significant fundraising potential.
You will be an inspiring individual who will play a leading role in helping development and fundraising at Eton College become pre-eminent in the schools’ sector. Your own record of fundraising will be outstanding, and you will be excited to join a high-achieving and reflective academic culture.
As a leader at Eton, you will have exacting standards and high attention to detail, will be a self-starter with initiative, confidence, drive and flexibility and the ability to deal with unexpected situations and think on your feet.
An excellent remuneration package is offered for the post of Head of Development reflecting the seniority and significance of the position and may include relocation support.
