Head Teacher – Cavendish Education

London Boroughs

We are pleased to be working with Cavendish Education as they seek a Head Teacher for a new and exciting opportunity.

Cavendish Education see past the labels associated with learning differences and instead see the young person and their potential. Now in their eighth year of operation, they have 11 schools and have exciting new opportunities as they continue to expand to meet the needs of more young people.

Head Teachers work closely with their assigned Principal and the Governance Board to lead, advise on and develop the strategic vision and the direction of their school.

They are responsible for the overall management of their school and for the direction of teaching and curricula within the general policies and the financial limits, and in accordance with relevant legislation.  As natural communicators who build excellent relationships with others, our Head Teachers lead external relations (PR, admissions, LA relationships, other feeder schools, community) and ultimately will ensure the school is performing in line with agreed objectives.

Cavendish Education is committed to ensuring that all employees have access to Continuing Professional Development, to ensure the maintenance and development of  professional skills.

Candidates for the position of Head Teacher are warmly invited to contact Michael Stephens (Head of Senior School Search) or Sarah Evans (Senior Advisor) for a confidential discussion about the opportunity:
