The Governors of The Ladies’ College, Guernsey, are seeking to appoint a Vice Principal and Head of Senior School. This is a new role, created at an exciting time for the College as it implements and further develops its ambitious vision. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day operations of the Senior School and will work closely with the Principal to implement the strategic goals of the College.
The Ladies’ College, Guernsey is an independent day school for girls aged from 2 ½ to 18. Its reputation for academic excellence is well-known in Guernsey and the College is proud of the results achieved by its students in a vibrant, friendly and supportive environment. Wellbeing sits at the core of its ethos; it was the first school in the Channel Islands to be recognised with the Wellbeing Award for Schools. It is also a Microsoft Showcase School. A wide range of co-curricular and enrichment activities are offered, and the facilities have been developed to include a purpose-built sixth form centre and an art and drama building. The College was judged Excellent in every category in its 2022 ISI inspection.
This appointment is a great opportunity for the right individual to make a lasting impact on the College. The new Vice Principal will embrace the College’s aims of empowering young women, leading in educational innovation, and being woven into the fabric of Guernsey.
