David Lloyd

David Lloyd is a development and fundraising consultant based near Oxford, UK. His passion is to help schools and other charities grow in a relational, intentional and sustainable way. 

David has worked in development for 20 years across three key areas in the charity sector – in healthcare, education and religion – including time as Development Director at Magdalen College School, Oxford, and in the Middle East with American Mission Hospital as Director of Communications and Development. 

Alongside working with charities in their start-up phase, David also has international experience working with large charities raising funds across the globe. 

Following a career as a journalist and having worked in newspapers, public relations, and as a magazine editor David then moved into development. David is also an Advanced Toastmaster and believes firmly in the importance of clear verbal and written communication as part of the development process.
