Jeff Hynam

Jeff is a former Bursar of Winchester College and joined RSAcademics as a Senior Advisor, specialising in Bursar appointments and appraisals as well as undertaking bursarial department and governance reviews.

Jeff started his career as a teacher before moving into a varied career in outdoor education, culminating in the headship of Berkshire’s outdoor education centre in Snowdonia. In 1993 Jeff was appointed as Bursar and Clerk to the Governing Body of Desborough School, Maidenhead, one of the first of the grant-maintained schools. In 1998 he took up the position of Bursar and Secretary to the Council of Roedean and in 2004 Bursar and Secretary to the Governing Body of Winchester College.

Jeff is a former Governor of Frensham Heights School in Farnham and The Pilgrims’ School in Winchester.
