Culturally astute and internationally minded, Selina has senior-level marketing experience gained from working in the commercial and education sectors, and has lived and worked in Japan, Singapore and the UAE as well as the UK.
For over 18 years, Selina held senior marketing roles in consumer goods businesses including Unilever, L’Oréal and SABMiller, and she has been a marketing consultant for the past three years. Her expertise includes all aspects of strategic and operational marketing, including marketing opportunity assessment, consumer insights, brand strategy, positioning, portfolio planning and marketing communications. With strong commercial acumen, she has extensive experience in leading and managing large-scale projects, requiring board-level approval and management of multiple stakeholder interests.
As a consultant, Selina has conducted a number of education projects for clients in the Middle East involving opportunity assessment and market entry strategies. She received a Dean’s commendation for her MBA dissertation, which comprised an analysis of the private school sector in the UAE.
