Sian Jones

Sîan is our longest-serving consultant, having joined the company in 2005. She leads many of our strategic marketing, research and recruitment assignments and is one of the trainers for the AMCIS diploma, the UK’s leading qualification for schools’ marketing. Sian also regularly runs marketing seminars and INSET for individual schools and larger organisations such as the BSA and CISC.

Sian attended Sherborne School for Girls before studying Modern Languages at Oxford. She started her marketing career in the travel industry, holding a number of senior roles with well-known brands. Prior to working for RSAcademics, Sian was Head of Marketing for GEMS, responsible for launching the company in the UK and providing a marketing consultancy service to the 13 schools within the group.

As the daughter of a retired HMC Head, Sian feels at home in schools; she remains immersed in that world now as her husband is an Assistant Head.
