In 2015, we published our groundbreaking Ten Trends Report. Written for governors and senior leaders, the report provided research-led insights into key drivers and patterns across the independent school sector. We updated this in 2016-17 and have continued to contribute to sector insights through standalone research reports since then.
In the face of ongoing global economic pressures and shifting political landscapes, independent schools within the UK and internationally face a diverse range of complex issues. Our Ten Trends website will provide insight and support to schools on these issues.
Through our new webpages, we will provide regular insights into critical topics such as:
- pressures on student recruitment
- potential responses to the potential levy of VAT on fees
- pupil and staff wellbeing
- social change movements and the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion; and
- the challenges and opportunities arising from AI.
Designed to support you as school leaders and Boards with the long-term sustainability of your schools, our work and insights will help you respond to developments with agility, challenge long-held assumptions, and examine existing business models.
Our online Ten Trends will enable us to respond dynamically to sector developments as they happen. To ensure we are presenting the most up-to-date thought leadership, we will be inviting contributions from leading voices in the sector, as well as drawing on our expertise, to produce a range of blog posts, podcasts and webinars providing both insight and practical support to help schools navigate the challenges ahead.
