Deputy Head Academic – Glendower Preparatory School

The Governors and the Head, Mrs Nina Kingsmill Moore, are seeking to appoint an exceptional, forward-looking Deputy Head Academic who, together with the Deputy Head Pastoral, Mrs Sharon Maher, will build upon Glendower’s longstanding reputation as a centre of excellence, where children flourish within a secure and nurturing environment.

Glendower Preparatory School is a leading London independent day school for girls aged 4 – 11. A thriving, happy and successful school, Glendower is renowned for both its high academic achievement and for educating girls to be resilient, confident adults, fully aware of their responsibilities to the wider community.

The Governors and Head will be looking for an inspiring, team-oriented leader with outstanding organisational skills who will work alongside all members of the expanded senior management team and embrace the special ethos
of Glendower. The successful candidate will be passionate about innovative teaching and learning and particularly committed to ensuring a broad and enriched curriculum where curiosity is fostered and stimulated, and each and every girl is given the opportunity to shine.
