Development Director – Dubai College
A career-defining opportunity at an outstanding international school.
After 42 years as the leading British school in the Gulf, Dubai College is now seeking to appoint its first Development Director to build a fully-fledged development office on the firm foundations which have been laid over the past five years. The Development Director will report directly to the Headmaster.
Salary – Highly Competitive
Start date – September 2020
The Development Director will have responsibility for fundraising and alumni relations and will define and lead the future direction of development at Dubai College. With the full support of the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Governors, the Development Director will create a development vision and plan by combining deep development expertise and best practice with the unique challenges and opportunities of this leading British school in the UAE.
This is an exciting role in an outstanding school and most likely suited to a highly experienced development professional with a proven track record of raising both funds and the public profile of a not-for-profit organisation. You will require creativity, innovation and sound judgement along with a solid development background to take on this exciting, new challenge; unless you have worked in the UAE before, this will not be business as usual.
The successful candidate will have expertise which includes major gifts, prospect pipeline management, campaigns, stewardship, relationship management, fundraising legislation, strategy and planning, along with the experience and gravitas to build relationships and secure donations and support at all levels across many cultures.
If you feel you have the potential to build on our reputation as a centre of excellence on the global stage, we would very much like to hear from you.
