Every year, QA trains around 300,000 people from more than 5,000 private and public sector organisations across the UK and, increasingly, in North America. To build on our current success as a leader and innovator in the market, QA is seeking to recruit its first Director of Education. The remit is ambitious: to develop and lead a world class team of learning delivery specialists across the Learning and Apprenticeships business lines, producing exceptional learner outcomes through classroom and virtual face to face learning.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Education Operations, this full-time role will be based in London and there is scope for flexible remote working for part of the time. Some travel to the company’s other UK centres may be required. An understanding of what makes great education is a pre-requisite and while this is not a technical role, some familiarity with new learning technologies will be expected. The appointee will be a visible and confident leader and strategic thinker, capable of mastering detail and using data to inform decision making. A courageous changemaker, the Director of Education will bring a relentless drive towards high standards and be prepared to contribute to the culture of QA, where we value teamwork, performance and diversity of thought.
Applicants should have a degree and appropriate professional leadership experience in a high achieving environment. An attractive compensation package including the possibility of share options will be available to the successful candidate.
