Abberley Hall is a 3-13 IAPS, non-selective, day and boarding, coeducational school. It is set in spectacular grounds in rural Worcestershire and offers children an idyllic education encompassing a myriad of opportunities backed by a rigorous academic approach. Over 90 acres of beautiful grounds and tremendous facilities mean that the school can stretch and develop children to go on to some of the leading senior schools in the country, whether locally or nationwide. The boarding community is remarkably strong and is at the core of Abberley’s ethos.
Will and Beth Lockett will have enjoyed six happy years leading the school, and with the support of Malvern College, it is a great time for a new leader to take up the reins for the next chapter of Abberley’s development.
The Governors are seeking an inspirational educationalist, committed to boarding and the breadth that boarding-focused schools can offer. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and experience of senior leadership, preferably in the independent sector, including some experience of boarding.
