Take the Fundraising Lead at Oakham

Founded in 1584, Oakham School is a leading HMC, fully co-educational boarding and day school, located in Rutland.

The Head of Development will have responsibility for major gifts fundraising and The Campaign for Oakham and play a pivotal role in defining the direction of fundraising and development at Oakham School.  This is a newly created role in a well-established team that will give the candidate the opportunity to focus on major donors and the scope to play a critical role in the long-term success of the School.  With the full support of the Senior Leadership Team and the Trustees, the Head of Development will take the fundraising lead for the School and make a significant impact on Oakham’s ability to deliver its Strategic Vision.  It is an exciting role in an outstanding school and most likely suited to a major gifts expert looking to develop their career.

The successful candidate will have expertise which includes major gifts, prospect pipeline management, campaigns, stewardship, relationship management, strategy and planning, along with the experience and gravitas to build relationships and secure donations and support at all levels.
