Head of Pre-Prep – Cheltenham College Preparatory School
Cheltenham College Preparatory School is looking for a truly inspiring and brilliant Head to lead an already thriving Pre-Prep to even greater heights.
For January or April 2022
The chance to nurture children in the crucial formative years and to build in them a genuine love of learning is both exciting and an awesome responsibility. The Pre-Prep is undergoing a complete renovation this Summer and a brand-new woodland Nursery will be opening in September 2022.
Cheltenham College Preparatory School is part of Cheltenham College, which provides an outstanding all-round education from 3 to 18 years. The Schools have been fully co-ed for many years and are situated in their own spacious grounds near the centre of Cheltenham, a flourishing Cotswold spa town. They have fine academic records and a considerable reputation for sport, drama and music. The Pre-Prep’s fully refurbished facilities and the new woodland Nursery will provide the perfect setting for young children to excel.
The new Head will be an ambitious and energetic leader with outstanding communication and administrative skills, ready to embrace challenge. He/she must be able to lead and inspire both staff and pupils and have a passion for outstanding teaching. An accomplished understanding of pupil assessment data and the knowledge of how to feed this into collaborative planning are essential. To be successful, he/she must be a team player with vision, warmth, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
