Head – St Christopher’s The Hall School
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS NOW PASSED.
SEPTEMBER 2021 OR JANUARY 2022
St Christopher’s The Hall School is a co-educational independent day school for children aged 2-11 years, situated in its own grounds in the heart of Beckenham. With around 270 children on roll, St. Christopher's provides a varied, balanced curriculum which leads to competitive entry to Independent Senior Schools and Selective Grammars at 11 years. The Governors now seek a successor to Andrew Velasco, who retires this summer after 21 years’ dedicated service to the School. A new Head could start in September 2021 or January 2022.
At St Christopher’s, there is a friendly and open atmosphere in which the children are encouraged to maximise their potential and to work and play to the best of their ability. A happy, caring and secure environment is vital to the development of the child as an individual, where good manners and respect for others are highly regarded and learning is structured and fun.
The successful candidate will be a talented individual who is a creative and warm leader, able to embrace and enjoy all that has been achieved at the School with the ability to take St Christopher’s The Hall on the next stage of its journey. This is an exciting opportunity for a progressive educationalist, who is an open communicator with a sense of joy and fun and an exceptional team leader with some knowledge of London 11+ processes.
