Head – Windermere School
The Lake District
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS NOW PASSED.
A school of around 320, day and boarding, 3-18, Windermere School is in a location of breath-taking beauty at the heart of the Lake District National Park. Established about 130 years ago, the school combines a long history with a truly modern, global approach.
For September 2021 or January 2022
Due to personal circumstances the Head Designate is unfortunately no longer able to take up post in September 2021.
The school takes advantage of all that its wonderful setting offers and is deeply embedded in the local community but also is very much an international centre. As a Round Square school, it has a long history of welcoming international students who bring new and fresh perspectives to the community.
Young people are encouraged to strive for excellence in all things and the school offers a beautiful, stimulating and almost unique learning environment in which to excel academically, achieve in sport, drama or music, embrace outdoor pursuits, grow as an individual and nurture skills for life as part of a close-knit but global community.
This is an exciting time to be joining Windermere School to build on its successes and to provide inspirational leadership, forging the strong confidence of parents, meeting the challenges and opportunities and taking the school to its next stage of development.
Interested candidates are invited to contact Camilla Oulton or Holly Fitzgerald by email to arrange a confidential conversation.
