Senior Consultant: Philanthropy – RSAcademics Ltd
Home-based, with nationwide and potentially also international travel
THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS NOW PASSED.
Reflecting some of the challenges faced by the schools’ sector overall, demand for RSAcademics’ development and philanthropy services has never been higher. In response, we are seeking to grow our high calibre, client-facing team of consultants. We are looking for individuals with a strong track record in fundraising who wish to join a team that helps to shape the thinking and activities of schools in the UK and worldwide.
RSAcademics was set up in 2002 by Russell Speirs who remains the CEO. Since then, the company has grown steadily: we now work with over 250 different school clients in the UK and around the world each year and count over 80 employees and associates.
We have opportunities for individuals to join us on an employed basis and also as freelance consultants. We are looking to add to the existing skills, knowledge and experience of our current team and welcome applications from fundraising professionals who can demonstrate how they will support the growth of our vibrant practice.
Successful candidates will be commercially astute, committed to fundraising and alumni/stakeholder relations, have a natural empathy for the schools’ sector, be able to inspire and build trust with clients and, above all, have an eye for detail coupled with a desire to provide an outstanding service.
You may have extensive experience working in the schools’ sector or may be from outside the sector but possess the right blend of transferable skills required by this exciting role.
If you are interested, then we warmly invite you to discuss how these opportunities may fit with your career goals and preferred working arrangements. To arrange a confidential discussion please contact Peter Lockhart, Search Consultant: PeterLockhart@rsacademics.com
The closing date for applications is 10.00am on 21 June 2021 but as we plan to interview on a rolling basis which may begin before the closing date, we would encourage application as early as possible.
We strongly believe that we will be a better company if we embrace and promote diversity in all its forms and take action to become a more inclusive organisation. We encourage applications from under–represented groups for all positions which we advertise.
To apply, candidates should complete an application form electronically and submit it to RSAcademics, together with a CV and covering letter. Letters of application should be a maximum of 2 pages in length and should outline the attraction of joining RSAcademics, why candidates feel their experience, skills and personal qualities qualify them, and whether they are interested in an employed or freelance position. Please address your letter to Heather Styche-Patel, Head of Strategy, Marketing and Research.
To submit your application, please click the Apply Now link. You will be taken to our online application portal where you will also be able to download an application form. Please follow the instructions provided to complete your application.
