Our new Pupil Voice survey service

Our affordable, self-service Pupil Voice survey service – designed by our specialist research team – will help you comply with inspection requirements and strengthen your pupil wellbeing . 

Headteachers and school leaders will know that pupil wellbeing is at the heart of the new ISI inspection framework and schools need to show they are listening to, and acting on, their pupil voice to achieve the best outcomes and strengthen wellbeing and the school experience overall.   

Many schools are already very proactive in this area. Yet, from our decades of experience of research in schools, we know not all children and young people feel comfortable sharing their concerns and less positive experiences. This puts schools at risk of non-compliance or a poor or disappointing inspection and may make them less effective at meeting the needs of all pupils.   

To help schools meet this challenge, we’ve launched a new self-service survey service. Created by our professional education research team, with input from schools, Pupil Voice is expertly designed to tease out pupil views on everything from learning and studies, to support and wellbeing, school resources and co-curricular activities. 

Full anonymity, and a mix of question styles, encourage even the quieter, marginalised and less engaged voices to speak up, providing an authentic and rounded picture of pupil life.  

Affordable and quick to set up, our easy-to-use, digital platform presents rapid results. A mix of tables and charts will show headline responses to module questions and are customisable, allowing close analysis of different groups where needed. You will also receive verbatim answers to free response sections.  

An annual subscription at £3 per pupil provides you with up to three surveys a year. Each survey includes core questions, up to three modules of pre-set questions, plus the option to add two questions of your own. You can select your modules from a list of nine, spanning all areas of school life. Response rates and results are available on our digital platform – with options to analyse your data in different ways. A subscription includes everything you need to plan, execute and analyse surveys, plus training guides and support.

We are pleased to offer new subscribers to our Pupil Voice service a 10% discount off membership of our partner organisation, The Wellbeing Hub, a live and interactive web app which provides expert support for the whole school community to access. Wellbeing Hub Partnership Discounts

10% off membership of The Wellbeing Hub for schools subscribing to RSAcademics’ Pupil Voice Service: This discount is available to schools who subscribe to the Pupil Voice Survey Service for the first time on or after 15 March 2024 and who are not existing members of The Wellbeing Hub before this date. 

10% off a subscription to the RSAcademics’ Pupil Voice Service for existing members of The Wellbeing Hub: This discount is available to schools who are existing or new members of The Wellbeing Hub and who subscribe to the Pupil Voice Survey Service for the first time on or after 15 March 2024. 

The Wellbeing Hub partnership discounts can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts off either service. 

Additional baseline Pupil Voice Survey for 2024/25

Schools who sign up for a 2024/25 annual subscription to the Pupil Voice Survey before 15 May 2024 will be offered the opportunity to run an additional baseline survey in the 2023/24 academic year at no additional cost.
