Beliefs are more than words on a page. Our people matter to us. Here are some of the ways we try to challenge, inspire and support each other:

Flexible working: Our focus is on recruiting the best people for the job, regardless of geography. We were early adopters of flexible working and embraced remote working long before Zoom was a well-used verb

Generous holiday allowance: We give all employees five weeks’ holiday and additional time between Christmas and New Year when we close the office

Private healthcare: Everyone employed by RSAcademics benefits from a comprehensive private health insurance package

Financial thank-yous: We share our success with our employees. When the company performs well, colleagues receive a thank-you payment

Inclusive culture: We nurture a culture that fosters a sense of belonging for all our colleagues

Supporting colleagues’ fundraising: We have a dedicated pot of money which we use to support any colleague’s personal fundraising efforts, whatever the cause

Commitment to training and development: Regular training to ensure we keep abreast of the latest developments and bring best practice techniques and approaches to our clients

A sense of fun and (sometimes) indulgence: Specially sourced treats posted to colleagues simply to say ‘thank you’, an annual summer charity walk, Christmas jumper competitions, barbeques, quiz nights and other fun events

Company events: To encourage collaboration and share best practice

  • Annual company conference – on Zoom currently, but usually held in an inspiring London venue such as Lambeth Palace, focussing on updates on the year gone, direction for the year ahead, workshops and time together in person (important when we are spread around the globe), a lovely repast and an evening social for those who want to carry on the conversations over drinks and nibbles
  • Fortnightly virtual company catch-ups – boil the kettle, grab a Kit-Kat and settle in for an interesting theme and speaker and a catch-up with colleagues. More valuable than ever during the pandemic
  • Regular team meetings – currently on Zoom, but hopefully back in person soon at a central venue to discuss challenges and ideas and to plan for the future
