Oakham School is seeking an exceptional leader for this newly created post. They will report directly to the new Head, Lucy Pearson helping to shape a bold, strategic vision and spearhead change.

Salary: In the region of £90,000-£100,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Oakham is an outstanding independent co-educational boarding and day school for some 800 pupils, aged 11-18. Located in Rutland in the heart of rural England, the School is a vibrant and well-rounded community. The Director of Marketing, Admissions and Development will bring together these functions into a cohesive and collaborative External Relations team, leading them with imagination, clarity and ambition. They will be responsible for shaping how Oakham communicates, tells its story, attracts and retains families, inspires alumni and supporters to remain actively engaged with the School, and creates meaningful opportunities for philanthropy and partnership.

This pivotal role will most likely be suited to either a highly experienced education sector professional or a strategic marketeer from outside the sector with strong commercial, relational, and creative skills. What matters most is your ability to lead people, build relationships, navigate change and deliver meaningful impact.
