Bob Griffin
Senior Advisor
Bob joined RSAcademics as a Senior Advisor after a highly successful career in educational leadership. Following a Modern Languages degree at Christ Church, Oxford, Bob taught at Markham College, an HMC overseas day school in Lima, Peru. He took his PGCE at the University of York, then spent nine years at Haileybury College, where he was Head of Modern Languages. He moved on to serve as Senior Deputy Head at The Royal Grammar School, Guildford for five years and then joined Exeter School (7-18, co-educational, day) as Head, a post he held for 17 years. Bob has contributed to adventure and leadership training with the Combined Cadet Force, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Ten Tors.
Bob is a trained ISI inspector and has joined and led accreditation inspections for HMC schools at home and abroad. He has mentored a number of secondary school Heads and has been a Governor at Truro School since 2017.
