Caroline Wood

Caroline is a Senior Consultant in the Consultancy Services team at RSAcademics, specialising in marketing and admissions strategy. She works with Heads, Governors and senior leaders to help schools understand their audiences, articulate their identity and make confident, well-informed decisions about their future direction. 

Since joining RSAcademics in 2015, Caroline has led many significant projects, often working with schools at key points of change. She is known for the strong working relationships she develops with staff at every level, taking time to understand each school’s character, challenges and ambitions. This insight allows her to ask the right questions, stretch thinking and guide teams towards plans that are both realistic and aspirational. Caroline places great importance on building a solid evidence base for decision-making, and schools value the clarity and reassurance this brings to complex choices. 

Before joining RSAcademics, Caroline was Director of Admissions and Marketing at Cheltenham College, leading the function for both the Senior and Prep Schools. During her seven years there, pupil numbers grew by 20%, waiting lists were introduced and the school completed a full rebrand. 

Earlier in her career, Caroline spent over 15 years at BP in the UK and overseas, gaining immeasurable experience in strategic marketing, sales, customer service, finance, business analysis and project management.
