Jenny Funnell

Jenny is a Search Consultant in the Candidate Search team at RSAcademics, specialising in leadership appointments for prep schools. 

She brings a unique blend of scientific, commercial and educational experience to her role, enabling her to understand schools’ needs from multiple perspectives. Since joining RSAcademics, Jenny has built a strong track record of delivering high-quality candidate fields for prep and senior school leadership roles, shaped by her deep understanding of education. 

Jenny began her career in pharmaceutical public relations after graduating with a degree in Biochemistry. Following a vocational shift into education, she gained a diploma in early years teaching and worked across a range of school settings, also tutoring children preparing for 10+, 11+ and GCSE examinations. 

At RSAcademics, Jenny combines her educational insight with a thoughtful, determined and creative approach to search. Jenny is relentless in her commitment to each project and this results in first-rate fields which excite and enthuse clients.
