Senior Advisor

Lucy is a Senior Advisor in the Consultancy Services team at RSAcademics, supporting schools with operational strategy, governance, and senior leadership appointments. She brings extensive, hands-on experience from the independent sector, where she has advised on bursarial functions, international development, commercial strategy and longterm planning. Lucy spent 18 years as a Bursar in both day and boarding schools, including Leweston School and Sherborne School, where she also served as Clerk to the Governors. Her responsibilities spanned finance, HR, estates, health and safety, legal and charity compliance, commercial income generation and strategic development. At Sherborne, she oversaw the commercial relationship with Sherborne Qatar, gaining significant insight into international market and global partnerships. 

Lucy began her career as a chartered surveyor, specialising in planning and development. She worked with a leading international practice before joining the Ministry of Defence, where she led teams responsible for estate rationalisation and high profile site disposals, as well as complex project management.profile site disposals, as well as complex project management. 

She is currently a Governor at Pinewood School, having previously stepped in as Interim Bursar and supported the appointment of her successor alongside RSAcademics.
