Nick Edwards

Nick is a Senior Consultant at RSAcademics, bringing extensive experience in financial advisory, restructuring and strategic planning. He joined the consultancy team in 2026 and has supported strategic reviews and financial assessments for independent schools, helping leaders navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions about their future.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Nick spent 39 years with Deloitte, including 24 years as a Partner and service on the firm’s Board. He specialised in restructuring, turnaround and contingency planning, advising organisations through periods of significant change. His experience gives him a deep understanding of financial sustainability, governance and long-term strategy.

At RSAcademics, Nick works closely with school leaders and governing bodies to assess financial viability, explore strategic options and support effective decision-making. His collaborative approach and experience working with boards, lenders and other stakeholders help schools address challenges with confidence and clarity.

Nick is Chair of Governors at Davenies Preparatory School in Beaconsfield and previously served as Finance Chair. He is also a Non-Executive Director of the Institute for Turnaround, the UK’s leading membership organisation for professionals specialising in business turnaround and transformation.
