Rebecca Ting

Senior Consultant

Rebecca has spent her entire career in educational philanthropy. Starting from the ground up as a telephone campaign caller at the University of Oxford, she worked for a number of the College development offices before moving into the schools’ sector. Here she spent nine years at St Edward’s, Oxford as Director of Development fundraising for several capital builds and the 150th anniversary campaign. During this time she sat on an advisory board to the £3.3bn Oxford Thinking Campaign, specialising in building young alumni and participation level giving. Later, in six years as Director of Development and Alumnae Relations at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, she delivered a successful Covid fund, put in place structures to support a sustainable programme of philanthropy and worked with donors and internal stakeholders to fund and further develop the bursary programme.

Rebecca served on the IDPE board for six years, latterly as Vice Chair, leading the first sector membership survey and early benchmarking reports. She has spoken at several sector conferences, delivered the IDPE Essential Development Toolkit and trained GSA Heads in development.

Rebecca is a graduate of Exeter College, Oxford.
