Founding Principal – Chrysalis International Academy (Dubai)

UAE

A career-defining opportunity to become Founding Principal of Chrysalis International Academy, Dubai, an English National Curriculum school set to open in September 2027 and reach a capacity of 3,500 pupils.

Start date March/April 2027

Opening in 2027, Chrysalis International Academy (CIA) Dubai seeks a visionary, warm, and dynamic Founding Principal to shape a highly ambitious new UK curriculum school.

Nalapad Investments and MVK Holdings already operate two established education institutions in Dubai: Credence High School, a 2,500 strong school offering holistic learning from Pre-KG to Grade 12, and Crayons Nursery, an international Early Years centre. Construction on the superb 350,000 square feet CIA campus started in 2025 in the Liwan district in Dubailand, and CIA will welcome its first students in September 2027, offering the National Curriculum for England from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13. The school will nurture future-ready learners through a balanced blend of academics, creativity and wellbeing. Academic, sports and creative arts facilities will be extensive and outstanding. On its journey to 3,500 pupils, CIA is likely to start with around 400 pupils up to year 6 or 8.

The role requires a compassionate, proactive leader who prioritises holistic growth and community connection. They will architect a foundational culture, building a safe, innovative, inclusive and inspiring learning environment from the ground up. The role demands exceptional educational leadership, a passion for empowering young minds, and the entrepreneurial spirit to turn a blank canvas into a thriving, world-class educational landmark. Though founding experience is desirable rather than essential, it is imperative the new Principal has a comprehensive understanding of the unique demands and opportunities that come with starting a school of this size.  It is a superb opportunity for the right candidate.
