Principal – Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia
For January 2027
Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur (TISKL) is part of Taylor’s Schools (https://www.taylorsschools.com/), one of Malaysia’s largest private K–12 education groups, with schools in Malaysia and Singapore. For over 20 years, Taylor’s Schools has nurtured students to become academically strong, globally aware, and prepared to contribute as leaders in the global community.
TISKL offers the English National Curriculum, incorporating the IPC and IGCSE, and adopts a teaching approach which combines the best of East and West, delivering an international curriculum grounded in strong Asian values and character development.
The school occupies a purpose-built campus near the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Originally built in 1991 but extensively refurbished over the years, the school has a capacity of 1900 students and currently enrols 1500 students from nursery to year 11. The school has embarked on an Evolution Project which is expected to complete at the end of 2027 to enhance its facilities. These include a refresh of the main courtyard area and sports halls, construction of new sports facilities with an Astroturf football pitch, 50m swimming pool and basketball courts. This new construction will also include a basement carpark, and the relocation of the school cafeteria. The school student population is now almost an equal mix of Malaysian nationals and Asian expatriates.
TISKL are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal to lead TISKL into its next phase of growth and deliver an outstanding international education. The successful candidate will oversee the school’s strategic direction, educational standards, and financial sustainability, while supporting their vision of developing confident, future ready young people.
